PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
NGAP Modeling Tools team, part of Technology Development Core – UI & Modeling Tools
organization, aims to develop state of the art modeling, testing and supportability tools in
Eclipse to enable end-to-end development of SAP applications on top of the NGAP. The team,
based out of Bangalore, is responsible for the definition and delivery of important design time artifacts in NGAP.
The candidates need to have excellent programming experience as part of a development
team/organization and should possess the ability to quickly learn and adapt newer technologies.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of the NGAP Modeling Tools team, you are expected to:
• Design, develop and drive the NGAP topics in Java and ABAP. Experience in Eclipse
plug-in development and EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) would be an added advantage.
• Be self motivated, team player, quick learner and ready to stretch beyond your comfort
zone to deliver high quality products
• Execute as per agile development methodology [SCRUM]
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Education - B.E/ MCA/ M. Tech/ MS from reputed institutions
Experience – 2 to 5 years overall.
Skills –
• Have excellent analytical, problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently
given the problem/requirement definition.
• Strong team player.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Customer focus
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas in a structured way

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Overall 2-4 years of work experience in Core Java, J2EE
• Exposure in tools development will be an added advantage.
• Able to review code and guide other developers
• Require multiple projects work experience in an international setup with virtual teams
